This is a lovely Indian restaurant/take away in the heart of Blackrock. I've ordered takeaways a number of times and the food is always good. We actually sat in for a meal recently and again the food was delicious. The naan bread was even tastier because it was freshly made.

The spice bag was awful. It was completely inedible and almost made me vomit. One of the worst meals I've had in Dublin . I wouldn't recommend it. But the worker was polite and nice

The new spice bag is perfectly crispy with a great mix of fries and chicken tossed in bold Indian spices. The tasting platter had a variety of flavorful bites, and everything was super fresh.

PS: Try their Butter Masala as well!
Definitely worth trying if you’re nearby!

We visited Thindi Blackrock for the first time.
Firstly we were a bit confused on how to reach it since it’s co-sharing the space with Camile and secondly the moment we entered the restaurant there was a very strong smell which made us feel uncomfortable.
Nonetheless, we sat down and someone immediately got to us to ask if we are dining in and soon enough we had the menu card in our hands.
We ordered one starter - Thindi tasting plate with vegetarian only as was requested by us and which they accepted. This included Paneer spinach tikka, Onion Bhaji and Samosa. The tikka was good but the bhaji was v oily and samosa size was small and taste average.
For mains we ordered Jalfrezi and Paneer butter masala n naan/ galic coriander naan.
The mains was almost served along side the starter n mango lassi. Everything seemed was just mildly reheated n served. It was decent food but not something which we would like to go back to again.
The service was quick and the server was very pleasant but the food didn’t feel fresh nor hot and tasty.

I ordered a loaded naan roll for collection. But they stuffed chicken biriyani with just 2 pieces of chicken inside the loaded naan and sold it for 11 euros. It was more of rice than chicken. Utter waste of money. The scams these people are doing to save money for collection orders should be questioned.
